Phishing Sites Intensify World Cup Campaigns
“With the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil about to kick off in less than a week, it should be no surprise that phishing sites have intensified their own spam campaigns targeting Brazilians as well.
Some of these spam runs are fairly basic, as far as these go. This particular one, for example, tries to lure users with a lottery with a jackpot prize of 5 million Brazilian reais (just short of 2.2 million US dollars).”

Some Basic Rules To Owning A Wireless Router
After working in the IT world for many years there are a couple of things that never cease to amaze me about people and their wireless routers. The first part is how simple the password is for their wireless system often times it’s just their company name! The second major concern is how often to whom they hand it out, they tend to pass it out to nearly anyone. The third and most concerning issue that I see weekly is that no one changes their admin password. The first two may not be that bad, you might even be a very friendly company who shares that information, but the third is a very serious issue. Without changing your admin password any user can guess the password and change any and all settings in your router, making it so that no one can connect or everyone can steal your information. If you are one of those people who have not, please, please please do so!
