Unscrewing The Impossible

Today’s Top Threat
RegClean Pro
I do not get to cover threat’s that are not truly viruses very often, in fact it is almost refreshing. The RegCleanPro is less of a threat and more of a misleading application that gets installed on your computer and searches for possible problems and tries to get you to buy the program to fix them. It should be easy to figure out, that it won’t fix the issue.

Future Planning
Sometimes we are humans think that what we are doing now is a great idea, but can really hinder us later. Today as I was attempting to remove a piece of hardware, I noticed it was screwed in with a one sided screw. If you do not know, they are mean to be installed, not uninstalled. Where the piece of equipment was in, did require a bit more security than the average piece of hardware, it made it impossible to replace. That little antidote is a good example of what happens when we think in the short term, but when it comes to technology it is wise to think for both the short term and the long term, what piece of hardware is good in five years, and what is affordable now.
