Custom-Built Nvidia RTX 3090 Gaming Systems

We are now offering custom-built desktops equipped with the most powerful graphics card available to consumers, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090.

The main distinction between a gaming PC and a consumer PC is one defining characteristic: a high-end discrete GPU — a graphics card. However, not every discrete GPU has the specifications you require in order to perform tasks that require a system with a high level of graphics performance.

If you’re looking for a custom-built PC that can handle resource-intensive tasks for engineering, design, medical, photo editing, and video production that can handle almost any program available — you’re looking for a Custom Built PC with an RTX 3090 from Computer Service Now.

Let’s discuss the top uses of a high-performance PC and how the RTX 3090 graphics card is the cherry on top.

Custom-Built vs. Prebuilt PCs

Whether you’re a media editor, animator, engineer, medical researcher, gamer, or work in any other profession that really puts a strain on hardware, our custom-built PCs are sure to help you complete tasks effectively.

If you’re looking for a top-of-the-line PC with nearly every high-end component you can fit in a single gaming computer, it’s best to have a custom PC built.

Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090

Much like its predecessor, the RTX 3090 is built on the Nvidia Ampere architecture, using the GA102 GPU. Also included are 82 Streaming Multiprocessors (SM), a total of 10,496 CUDA cores, 328 Tensor cores, and 82 RT Cores.

Another feat Nvidia has accomplished is bumping up to 82 SMs (from 72 on the Nvidia Turing-based Titan RTX) with the Ampere architecture, both the datapaths on each SM are able to handle FP32 workloads. This essentially means that CUDA core counts per SM is effectively doubled — making the RTX 3090 a rendering masterclass.

Also included is 24GB of GDDR6X video memory on a 384-bit bus, which makes for 936 GB/s of memory bandwidth — nearly a terabyte every second.

Basically, anyone who does heavy 3D rendering work will have a huge benefit from the RTX 3090 as compared to its predecessor.

Although it may not seem like a lot, the RTX 3090 is 10-20% faster than the RTX 3080. Although this does provide a slight bump up for gamers, this card is primarily aimed at the beginning of 8k gaming and professional 3D rendering applications.

If you’re planning to use a PC with an RTX 3090 for Adobe Premiere, I have some good news. Now that the encoder is supported in Adobe, nearly the entire video production suite’s workflow is now accelerated by the GPU, making this incredibly beneficial to video editors.

As mentioned, the RTX 3090 also really shines in 3D rendering applications like Blender and AutoDesk Maya. The 3090 is nearly twice as fast as its predecessor in Blender — a 91% improvement thanks to the sheer amount of VRAM and FP32 performance on offer.

If you’re looking for more than a consumer-grade graphics card with real raw rendering power, but aren’t ready to jump into Nvidia Quadro or Nvidia Tesla, the RTX 3090 is a perfect middle ground solution.
